La Junta Vecinal de Armunia es una entidad de \u00e1mbito territorial inferior al municipio y \u00f3rgano representativo de la pedan\u00eda de Armunia, dependiendo del Excmo. Ayto. de Le\u00f3n desde 1970, cuando se integr\u00f3 en el municipio leon\u00e9s.
\nArmunia limita con Le\u00f3n al noreste, Trobajo del Cerecedo al sureste, Villacedr\u00e9 y Ribaseca al sur, Santovenia de la Valdoncina y Quintana de Raneros al suroeste, Oncina de la Valdoncina, Aldea de la Valdoncina, Fresno del Camino, Valverde de la Virgen al oeste y La Virgen del Camino, Oteruelo de la Valdoncina y Trobajo del Camino al noroeste.
\nLa Pedan\u00eda cuenta con 5035 habitantes, de los cuales 2413 son hombres y 2622 Mujeres, convirti\u00e9ndose en la 12\u00ba segunda unidad poblacional de la provincia de Le\u00f3n con mayor n\u00famero de habitantes<\/p>\n

La Pedan\u00eda de Armunia es una de las tres Entidades Locales Menores de la ciudad de Le\u00f3n. Las otras dos son Oteruelo con 327 habitantes y Trobajo del Cerecedo con 700 habitantes.
\nEn funci\u00f3n del n\u00famero de habitantes que integran la pedan\u00eda, la Junta vecinal est\u00e1 integrada por 5 miembros, actuando uno de ellos en calidad de Alcalde ped\u00e1neo, siendo el resto 4 vocales.<\/p>\n
